Responsible use guidance
1. Purpose of Twin Flame Journal
Twin Flame Journal provides AI-assisted journaling and reflective tools designed to support emotional awareness and personal growth. The app is intended for inspiration, education, and self-reflection only.
The app is intended for users 13 years of age and older.
2. Not Medical or Mental Health Care
Twin Flame Journal does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, legal, or financial advice. The app does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for licensed professional care.
3. AI Limitations
Responses are generated by automated artificial intelligence systems. They are not reviewed in real time by a human professional.
AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for certain situations. You are responsible for how you interpret and use any information provided.
4. Automated Safety Detection, Not Emergency Monitoring
Twin Flame Journal uses automated pattern matching to recognise language that may indicate a crisis, and to show crisis resources when it does. This detection is automated only.
No human monitors your conversations in real time. The app does not contact emergency services, authorities, family, or anyone else on your behalf, and it cannot provide emergency intervention.
Automated detection is imperfect. It may miss a genuine crisis, or respond to language that is not one. Please do not rely on it as a safety net: if you are in danger, contact emergency services or a crisis line directly.
5. When to Seek Professional Help
If you are experiencing emotional distress, depression, trauma symptoms, or thoughts of self-harm, seek assistance from a licensed healthcare professional immediately.
6. Crisis Resources
If you are in the United States and experiencing a crisis, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
If you are outside the United States, contact your local emergency services or a licensed healthcare provider in your region.
7. Healthy Usage
- Use the app as a reflective journaling tool, not a decision-making authority.
- Maintain balanced real-world relationships and routines.
- Seek professional care for complex emotional or psychological concerns.
- Take breaks when journaling feels overwhelming.
